Born in Hollywood, CA in 1964, raised and resides in Burbank, CA. He graduated John Burroughs High School in Burbank, Class of 1982. He was a member of the California Army National Guard from 1986 through 1990. Attended the US Army Engineering School, and was attached to the 240th Signal Battalion after graduation. Employed by NBC Studios from 1983 to 2007, holding various positions as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, House Electrician and News Video Editor for KNBC-TV.
Currently Employed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, holding the position of Assistant Director of Emergency Operations. He currently holds an EMT License since 1987, an Amateur Radio License-Technician Class, and is a BSA Woodbadge graduate, Fox Patrol-W4-57-01.
In his spare time he volunteers for the Bobby Sherman Volunteer EMT Foundation as a Field Supervisor. He is a Specialist Reserve Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, and Volunteers with the Burbank Fire Department Fire Corps Program as a Steering Committee Member and the Assistant Director of Volunteer Activities.
Married to wife Christina, with 2 children, Justin 18 and Julianna 10.
