Brigitte Poublon came to the United States in the 1960′s as a political refugee from Jakarta, Indonesia. Brigitte and her family settled in South Central Los Angeles and later moved to Hawthorne, where Brigitte attended Leuzinger High School. Upon graduating, she obtained her real estate license and worked as a real estate developer with Norton Development Inc. and Homestead Group. She continued her real estate career while attending El Camino College and UCLA, majoring in law and business.

Brigitte retired from real estate in 1996, having become a self-made millionaire. For the last six years, she has devoted herself to philanthropy. Her efforts have ranged from serving on the Board of Directors of organizations to donating money to producing fundraising events. She has worked on behalf of many charitable organizations, including: Make a Wish Foundation, Starlight Foundation, United Airlines Foundation, Big Sisters of America, Junior Blind Foundation, Special Olympics, Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation, Olive Crest Abused Children’s Foundation, and Children Uniting Nations.

Brigitte joined the Board of Directors of the Bobby Sherman EMT Foundation ten years ago. While serving as President of the Foundation, she has become certified as an Emergency Medical Technician and volunteers her time as an EMT. 

Brigitte’s philanthropic efforts are boundless, as is her zest for life. Her most recent project is an orphanage in India, where she will be traveling to in 2010.  The orphanage center will be named on behalf of The Bobby Sherman EMT Foundation.  Currently residing are 35 kids but hoping to obtain 1000 children in the next two years.

She currently resides in her completely remodeled Brentwood home with her three dogs Twinkles, Thumper and Pepperoni & her kitty Spooky. She loves to kick box, watch movies and play tennis in her spare time. Brigitte loves to sing and record in Bobby’s studio.  Brigitte recently recorded a CD and Bobby did the arrangement in his home studio.
